你不知道的英语单词小秘密
※ The shortest complete sentence in the English language consists of only one word and that is “Go”.
英语里由一个单词组成的最短的完整的句子就是“GO”。
※ The oldest word in the English language is “town”.
英语里最有年头的一个词是“town(城镇)”。
※ In England, till 1880s using the word “pants” was considered indecent.
在英国19世纪80年代以前，说“pants（裤子）”这个词都会被人家认为不礼貌。（裤子好命苦~）
※ The word “goodbye” came from “God bye”, which in turn comes from “God be with you”.
“goodbye（再见）”这个词其实是由“God bye”演变而来，而“God bye”又演变自“God be with you”。
※ According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the longest word in the English language is “pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis”. The only other word with so many letters is its plural, “pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokonioses”.
牛津字典里收录的最长单词是“pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis（硅酸盐沉着病就是传说中的矽肺病）”。而唯一可以与其匹敌的就是这个词的复数形式“pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokonioses”。(这么长！！学医的人伤不起啊！！)

英语中含义最多的词是“set”。（大家可以数一数自己知道多少种哦~）
※ There is a seven-letter word in the English language that contains ten words without rearranging any of its letters, and that seven-letter word is, “therein”, which contains: the, there, he, in, rein, her, here, ere, therein, herein.
在英语中有一个由7个字母组成的单词可以被依次分解为“the, there, he, in, rein, her, here, ere, therein（在其中）, herein（在这方面）”这个词就是“therein”。（乃是变形金刚咩！浓缩就是精华！！精华啊！！快记着！！）
